Journey Weaver provides travel planning, booking, and tour services throughout China. We offer:

  • Travel consultation and support services

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking Process

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. When you make a booking, you agree to provide accurate and complete information. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion.

3.2 Pricing

All prices are quoted in the currency specified and are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed. Prices include services as specified in the itinerary but may exclude international flights, personal expenses, travel insurance, and optional activities unless otherwise stated.

3.3 Payment Terms

A deposit is typically required to confirm your booking, with the balance due before the travel date as specified in your booking confirmation. Payment methods accepted include credit cards, bank transfers, and other methods as agreed upon.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation by You

Cancellation policies vary by journey type and timing:

  • 30+ days before departure: Full refund minus processing fees (typically 5-10%)
  • 15-30 days before departure: 50% refund
  • 8-14 days before departure: 25% refund
  • Less than 8 days before departure: No refund

Some special journeys or peak season bookings may have different cancellation terms, which will be clearly stated in your booking confirmation.

4.2 Cancellation by Us

We reserve the right to cancel any journey due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, or insufficient bookings. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or alternative arrangements.

5. Travel Documents and Requirements

It is your responsibility to ensure you have:

  • Valid passport with at least 6 months validity
  • Required visas and travel permits
  • Travel insurance (strongly recommended)
  • Any necessary vaccinations or health certificates
  • Appropriate travel documents for minors if applicable

We are not responsible for any costs or consequences resulting from your failure to obtain required documents or meet entry requirements.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, trip cancellation, baggage loss, and personal liability. We are not responsible for any losses or expenses incurred due to lack of adequate insurance coverage.

7. Health and Safety

You are responsible for:

  • Disclosing any medical conditions, disabilities, or special requirements that may affect your participation
  • Ensuring you are physically and mentally fit for the journey
  • Following safety instructions provided by our guides and staff
  • Complying with local laws and regulations

We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone whose health or behavior may endanger themselves or others.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We act as an intermediary between you and service providers (hotels, transportation, etc.)
  • We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or death resulting from acts or omissions of third-party service providers
  • We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes due to circumstances beyond our control
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and designs, is the property of Journey Weaver or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without prior written permission.

10. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt our website or services
  • Transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Collect or store personal information about other users

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through friendly negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent people's court in Shanghai, China.
